You don’t need a referral. However, if you plan on using your health benefits, your insurance provider may require a referral. It’s always best to double check your plan!

Yes! We direct bill most insurance companies.

Physiotherapy and athletic therapy services are not covered by OHIP.
The only exception is if you’re eligible for the provincially-funded “Bundled Care” Ontario program. This program covers treatment services for patients of hip, knee and shoulder replacements.

Visit https://walkertonphysio.janeapp.com. Select a treatment and a preferred appointment date and time. Follow the prompts to complete your online appointment booking.
During the online booking process, you will complete a confidential medical history intake questionnaire and sign consent forms.

Our online booking page! Search for the class by clicking on the respective staff member, or by selecting the discipline you are looking for. Read the descriptions carefully to make sure you’re signing up for the right class. The calendar will display available options. If you have an active class-pass, you will not be charged the individual drop-in rate shown on the booking page. All payments are processed once the class has taken place.

When you book an appointment (online or via phone/email), you’ll receive a confirmation email which includes a link to fill out your intake forms. The forms can be filled ahead of time in the comfort of your home or you can complete them in person at the clinic, prior to your appointment.

We accept debit/credit, cash, or e-transfer. You can also save your credit card info on your JaneApp portal for even easier payments.

Two reasons! The biggest reason is so that we can process payments from a distance for our yoga and Pilates participants. We don’t always have front desk staff present when those classes run so this makes it very easy for everyone! Secondly, in the rare event someone repeatedly no-shows to their appointments, having a credit card on file helps us enforce our cancelation policy to avoid losses to the clinic and practitioners.

Our clinic software, JaneApp, uses the highest health industry standard of privacy for patient data, including chart files and payment information. Even our practitioners are unable to actually see your credit card information; it is stored securely within the system and we will never process a payment on your card without letting you know!
